Welcome back. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas break. We have loved hearing your children’s stories on what they all got for Christmas! We were very busy last term and I would just like to thank you again for all of your amazing support. Our Christmas party and concert were a great success!
As your are all aware, Berrie is pregnant and, unfortunately, she had to leave us a little earlier then planned now as she needs to rest and put her feet up ready for her little one joining her and her partner very soon. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Karen to our team. She will be taking over from Berrie and, if you have not already met her, I’m sure she will get round to introducing herself this next coming week.
New consumable fees
All of you have had your slips now making you aware of your new weekly fees. Anyone who is still unsure of what this might be or any other questions regarding this matter please speak to Keely.
Please can we ask that if your child will not be attending their session please could you let us know as early as you can by ringing or texting the nursery number which is 07516987199
Please note that usual fees are still to be paid.
Please continue to share all your lovely photos with us on Tapestry. It is really nice for us to see what you have all been doing. If you are having any problems logging into Tapestry please speak to Keely and we will happily sort it out for you. If you do make any changes to your email address then please do let us know so that we can keep our records up to date.
If your child is unwell please do not bring them to nursery to avoid spreading the illness to other children and staff. If your child does become unwell while at nursery we will contact you to pick them up as soon as possible so the illness does not spread. If your child has sickness or diarrhoea please do not return to nursery until they are 48 hours free from illness.
Spare clothes and toilet training
Please can we ask that you bring a bag containing spare clothes to nursery each day as the children do at times get messy and wet from the sensory activities they take part in. If your child is toilet training please remember to provide plenty of spare clothes, pants, knickers, socks and shoes too!! Although we regularly encourage children to go to the toilet as you know accidents do sometimes happen!!
Please can we request that you don’t send your child to nursery with peanut butter in their sandwiches as we have several children with nut allergies who attend the nursery. May we also remind you that your child’s packed lunch must contain an ice pack to meet with legal requirements of food safety.
Last day - Friday February 14th
